My Story & How It Can Help Your A New Life Business
Sixteen years ago I signed up with an MLM company. I didn’t sign up because I planned to actively pursue it, I signed up because the company had quality products I wanted to use and I was very impressed with its business plan. I thought that “someday” when I had time it would be worth pursuing.
I then spent the next 15 years as a very successful Department Manager in the business world. That means I spent the bulk of my time doing the following things:
- Planning
- Developing quality training material.
- Helping people do their jobs. When they learned how to do their jobs, I helped them do it better… and better… and better.
- Reviewing processes to make them better and more efficient.
- Making decisions on what tools we needed to help us do better work.
Like many other people over the last year, I got laid off last year because our department was moved out of state. After I spent several months training the newly hired staff halfway across the country, I was unemployed.
MLM RESEARCH
I thought of my MLM and began to get excited about finally having time to work on it. I spent some time researching on the internet and was struck by 3 things.
- The amount of information available was mind-blowing.
- Most of the information available was really crappy.
- There was a desperate need for quality information that would show people how they could really develop a successful MLM business.
(Yes, I said stuff like “crappy” in the business world. I think it actually helped me be successful because people who worked with/for me didn’t have to wonder what I thought about things. I never just repeated the “company line”.)
The great thing about the internet is that “anyone” can build a website. Then they can easily add a few links/articles to make it look good. The problem is that most of the stuff you see was designed for just that… to look good. Most of the content is so generic that it doesn’t really have any value.

That seems to be what most of the information on the internet is for… to make money for the seller.
